15 Oklahoma Futurity Trials Carded at Remington Park

OKLAHOMA CITY – The second night of the 2016 American Quarter Horse Season at Remington Park will be full of live racing excitement on Saturday, March 12. A total of 15 trials will be held to determine the final field for the historic Oklahoma Futurity. Due to the longer than normal racing program, the action will begin earlier than normal, at 5pm on March 12.

Brother to Heritage Place Futurity Winner Tops Thursday Training Races

OKLAHOMA CITY – BV King George, a 2-year-old full brother to 2015 Heritage Place Futurity winner BV Midnite Express, posted the best training race time in Thursday action at Remington Park..

Owned and bred in Oklahoma by Bella Vista Farms of Arcola, Ill., BV King George is trained by Eddie Lee Willis and was ridden in his 250-yard training race by Russel Hadley. BV King George utilized a clean start then ran straight and true with just one tap from Hadley, crossing the finish in :13.48 seconds over a fast track in the 10th and final event of the day. BV King George received help from a 21mph tailwind out of the north. Winds during the Thursday training races ranged between 18 to 22mph. .
